A Minneapolis native, Keith Carr went to college at Michigan, Minnesota, and Brown College. His first radio gig was 3 years in Colorado, then hired by Mid-West Family Broadcasting in La Crosse. WIZM 1982-85, Z-93 1985-88 (year and a half in the Twin Cities), Z93 1990 (mornings with Samantha Strong ever since) til moving to Classic Hits 94.7 in the spring of 2007.

His interests include movies, sports, lengthy afternoon naps, and finding the binoculars when the neighbor lady is working in the garden. Been married to Sandy Taylor since Valentine's Day 1986 (in Scotland!) His wife is happy to report that it's "way more than half over!" They adopted son Jay from Korea in 1998, who shares his parent's enthusiasm for sports and movies but misses the one about cleaning the house.

A Wisconsin girl born and bred. Grew up AND went to college in Beloit.

I come from a family of newspaper journalists and travelers. I traveled to Europe 4 times by the time I was 20, and apparently used up my travel allowance! Actually, most of my trips since then have been to Lake Superior where there's a family cottage, visiting my siblings spread from Rhode Island to Seattle, and a few trips to Scotland and Ireland.

I moved to the La Crosse area in 1984, loved (love) it and came to work at Mid-West Family Broadcasting in September of 1986. Started doing the morning show with talented, organized and witty Keith Carr in 1990. Married a nice Sheboygan boy, Dan (you can hear him on 94.7 late Sunday afternoons) and we have 2 fabulous and funny girls.

I realy can't think of a nicer reason to get up at 3:45am than to talk with you and Keith while listening to Classic Hits!

Okay, so I was born in Milwaukee, WI, the 8th of 8 kids, so I think for the first couple years my parents thought I was just one of the other kids toys. LOVED the hustle and bustle of the big city through 8th grade when we moved to Webster, WI, a town of 508 people. Very little hustle and virtually no bustle to speak of. We tried though. When I was old enough to drive, my red 1970 Chevy pick up truck and I were very popular... it's true guys... a truck can really help your cool factor. There is no better way to spend a Friday night than driving 30 miles to the nearest single screen movie theater with 5 other kids in this truck (built for 3 I am guessing) while blaring Kool and The Gang CELEBRATE. Good times. Speaking of good times, I have had many of them with my kids. Andrew is 23, Emyli is 21, and Sydney is 3. That's not a typo... it's a life choice. They are the best thing I have ever done, by far...except maybe back in 86 when I nailed that intro to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go with that cute girl right there in the studio with me. I was really nervous but she loved it... and it's true guys... being a DJ can really help your cool factor. And so here we are today... listening together to some of the great music ever made. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day.

I was born and raised in Houston, MN and moved my
family back there after living 10 years in the Twin Cities.
I'm actively involved in my community in several ways.
Houston Hurricanes, Vikings, Gophers, Timberwolves,
Wild, and Twins enthusiast. I like to ride ATV's and go
deer hunting. I've always had a passion for entertainment
and radio seems like a good place to put that passion
to work. As long as they don't lock me out of the
building, I'll keep showing up!

Born in Sheboygan WI. I moved to Lacrosse 1985. I am
married with 2 beautiful children. I have 4 hobbies really,
golf, fishing, theatre and radio. If I am not on the links or
on the water you will find me on stage at Lacrosse
Community Theatre. I have been in production's of Guys
on Ice, The 39 Steps, Escanaba in the Moonlight. On
Sunday afternoons you will find me On-Air. I have loved
radio doing since high school when I was able to take
to the air at my high schools radio station. Can you
believe it a high school radio station? A 180 Watt
student run station WHSH FM. I got back into radio
in 1991 and was on air with Z-93 under the name
Dan Knight. I also did a short stint in Rochester MN at
Laser 101FM. It's fun to be able to express that artistic
side of me. For a full time job I am a Senior Financial
Consultant at Associated Bank. I have been in the
financial services since 1996. Radio is just fun and
like most things I don't think I would have fun if I had
to do it for a job.
