A 5’2″ bronze statue of Prince was unveiled this week at “Purple Place” in Henderson, MN, located about an hour south west of Minneapolis. It has been added to Prince’s Garden which started with a granite bench carved with doves and Prince’s famous symbol guitar, later adding the mural of Prince leaning on a Red Corvette in front of First Avenue in Minneapolis.
The scenic byway just east of Henderson was the site of some of the most memorable moments of Prince’s 1984 film “Purple Rain.”
What is the actual address where the statue & mural can be found
The Prince Legacy Henderson Project Facebook page says the mural and tribute bench are located at 522 Main Street (Highway 19 Boulevard)
