Thanksgiving Foods, Part II

Something to be Thankful for: The average cost of a Thanksgiving dinner is down 4% this year. Unless you get delivery! The Farm Bureau’s 35th annual survey indicates the average cost of this year’s Thanksgiving feast for 10 remains affordable at $46.90 or less than $5.00 per person. That’s the lowest since 2010.

As you may know, our table always has my great great grandmothers cranberry recipe(it’s more like a jelly). Thanks to my husbands family we have dumplings, but we have left grandma’s creamed onions off the menu. We usually try a new stuffing recipe, but probably not this year. and I won’t be trying this, either: cooking your veggies in your dishwasher is back .
