I graduated with an English Lit Major. Mostly because I love to read! And I love Children’s books.
We recently lost two of my favorite authors. I must have read Eric Carle’s “The Very Hungry Caterpillar 10 million times to the kids.

Norton Juster was the author of one of my favorite books of any kind. “The Phantom Tollbooth” is awesome! I love Milo’s adventures. The struggle between words and numbers. Faintly Macabre, the not so wicked Which and others. And how things can be impossible and yet achievable.

Read to the kids! It does pay off. Even my youngest, now a college student, recently thanked me for reading to them when thy were little. A long time friend of my parents Ed Sparling (founder of Roosevelt University) always believed that education was the key to success. I think he was right. And you can learn so much by reading and it’s fun!
p.s. Thanks for reading this!
