Without a ringside seat to any of these conversations, you can probably come up with the focus.
If Anthony Hopkins doesn’t win an Oscar for his superb effort portraying an aging dad suffering dementia in “The Father”, there’s somethin’ really wrong here. Having several in our family trees with the illness makes it tough sledding for an hour and a half. But well worth it. Watch a winner, with loved ones, while ya can.
“Minari” and “Judas and the Black Messiah” will finish the eight Best Picture nominees in our house.
