I was scanning the news before our show this morning, and noticed a couple stories about engagement rings. Now, I got engaged without one. Dan wanted to get me a nice ring with a diamond, but, we had no money! I wanted something plain, like a gold band. Obviously we compromised. Perhaps that was a good sign for us all those years ago.
One of the stories was a woman who told her story with AITA, saying her fiancee had gotten her a cheap ring. When she mentioned her disappointment he said “F****** finally”, since he wanted a reason to dump her for his new girlfriend. Yikes!
Meanwhile, the other story was about Demi Lovato getting engaged, and her ring being worth $2.5 million. Double Yikes! To see Demi’s go here
