Well, let’s check what were the listings: Men’s college basketball conference tournaments decided, followed by The Brackets late Sunday afternoon. Baseball, golf (The Players), hockey. Very welcome where we live, since it was one year last Thursday that sports at all levels signaled global quarantine.
But maybe the centerpiece in our house was the ESPN documentary “GOATS” (sports slang for Greatest of All Time, of course), the three parts binged for us Sunday afternoon on ABC.
Through the lens of the great Walter Ioos we see and hear from the famous photographer who’s been to every Super Bowl and almost every other major sports event the past six decades. Personal favorite isn’t any of the games, but getting to know the eloquent and very engaging shutterbug himself. No doubt a solid choice to go On Demand.
