Being in commercial radio for over 40 years lends its own perspective to memories large and small, from the benign to the bizarre. This one is leaning to the latter. Early ’90’s pop hit Milli Vanilli hit, well a speed bump. Sadly this is but only one example. Greed ? Laziness ? Lack of talent and/or confidence?
Charlatans have been faking out folks since we crawled out of the caves. Men posing as women, and vice versa. Wall Street in particular and the financial world in general have stories to tell. Lots of ’em.
Maybe we’re drawn to the cleverness of trying to pull it off. Like going to a magic show or the movies.
