“Minari” (a southeast Asia (Korean staple)) is aquatic celery, basically. Probably good for ya.
Our household connection to the movies is well-documented, and to watch a film about a South Korean farm family immigrants landing in Arkansas is especially poignant: Son Jay was adopted from a Seoul, South Korean orphanage 23 years ago, getting to his new American home just a few months old.
He does NOT live on a farm in Arkansas (not YET anyway).
Jay is a special needs (aren’t we all ?) young man. We’re blessed to have each other.
